this weekend was a reminder that sometimes you need to stand and face the music.
it will make you cry until you can’t breathe, and make your head spin so fast you’ll think you’re high; you’ll think your crazy, but that’s sometimes what you need. Jimi Hendrix said it best, “craziness is like heaven”. and as H.D. Thoreau said, “heaven is under our feet, as well as over our heads.”
in lieu of thanksgiving, i am thankful for friends who will hold your head up when you’re to weak to hold it up on your own.

{i’m sure the view from heaven beats the hell out of mine here… you won’t be coming back and i didn’t get to say goodbye – i really wish i got to say goodbye…}

i’m going to go ahead and say what i need to say know because goodness KNOWS i’ve had nearly enough of this bullshit in the past 4 hours.

i pride myself on verbally attacking very few people politically, because i think it’s rude. but frankly, i’ve had it with these suckers. this might all be disjointed and not make very much sense but it is what is on my mind now, and i’m damn well gonna say it:

if i hear one more person say the words “socialist”, “obama” and “terrorist” in the same sentence again, i am so done with you as a person. suck it the fuck up. an election was conducted. a politician won the votes of the majority of the electoral college. when it was YOUR guy, you bitched about how much everyone else complained – for the record, i for one held my tongue. even though i thought your president elect, although a respectable human being, didn’t support the causes i did. times change. one thing that obviously hasn’t changed however is political stereotypes, because now that the tables have turned, “your America” has become a “socialist union”.

all political affiliation aside, President Bush won two consecutive election years (and i can only speak for myself) and i kept my damn mouth shut, EVEN though it meant that I, in all my LOWLY, LOWER CLASS, POOR, DAUGHTER OF “WORTHLESS IMMIGRANTS”, LAZY…. (need i go on?) had to continually pay increased taxes, because the politics our country was sponsoring were for tax breaks for the rich. i’m not saying the wealthy in this country don’t deserve what they have, but what i am saying is the taxes they now begin to incur are very small considering that nearly 1/2 of my parent’s tax bracket pay close to 1/3 of their yearly salary in taxes.

here’s what it comes down to – i personally believe that all of you, and you know who you are, should be as gracious as your presidential candidate, who – (again my opinion) aside from his poor vp pick which may have cost him the election, embrace the change that is happening.

as far as i’m concerned as long as you’re sitting on your money in America, you can pay your taxes in America and quit your bitching. i will be the first person in line to vote to increase your taxable income tenfold, because if my family of 4 can deal with 1/3 of our 43,000 dollar/year income going to taxes, you can deal.

and if you think Obama is a socialist, terrorist, islamic jihadist, or any other way “unfit to be president” you can kiss the fullest part of my naturally black ass.

this will be the first and the last time i ever attack anyone politically in such a manner, you’d best remember this shit.

PS – the Obamas are the SEXIEST presidential family to ever inhabit the white house. call them ugly one more time. i dare you. i will end annihilate you.

you have been given a democratic right, as a citizen of the United States of America, to vote to select the leader of your country. this matter isn’t to be taken lightly. I’m not here to tell you who to vote for, or why your candidate sucks, but rather encourage you to excercise your right. this is probably the most important election in the history of elections. and that aside, given the state our country is in, you really have no right to complain about anything until the next election year if you don’t vote.

and that’s what i have to say about that. see you at the polls!

i don’t love you like they love you.

i musn’t care. you know me telling you that i do is meaningless.
what’s a few years anyway? it’s not like relationships mean much. we totally can’t remain friends because we’re obviously not ready to make such a commitment to being human.

i obviously don’t love you nearly as much as they love you. it’s apparent because i don’t rip off my clothes for you. or make you sandwiches. or wear 5 inch heels. i will if you will but you won’t because you think you look like a beanpole and hate being tall.

you are not a snowflake. you are not unique and different. you are not going to keep ruining me. i won’t let you.

all this aside, being without you makes me feel half dead inside. and knowing that you think that i don’t love you like they love you is shredding my very essence. by the time you decide to turn around, i’ll be gone.
